  •  1. Minimum Age and Identification:

    • Only one person may be the Designated Operator (DO) of the vessel.

    • The DO must be at least 25 years of age.

    • The DO must present a valid driver's license.

    • The DO must present a valid credit card.

    2. Skill Requirements:

    • The DO must already possess the skills required to safely operate a pontoon in the given conditions.

    • The DO must arrive with the necessary knowledge, boating experience and compliant with Mississippi boating laws.

    • If the DO does not demonstrate an adequate level of skill to operate the vessel safely, Pontoon Rentals at Bay St. Louis Municipal Marina, LLC reserves the right to deny the rental.

    • DO knows and understands MS boating laws and regulations and will operate in compliance.

  • We deliver new Sun Tracker, 20-foot Party Barge, GPS, depth finder and Coast Guard approved youth and adult life jackets and all safety equipment with vessel documentation. An ice chest will also be provided on board.

  • Yes! There's free public parking at the Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor, 100 Jody Compretta Drive, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.

  • Towels, sunscreen,

    cooler/snacks/beverages/water, beach toys, and swimming gear. Food and beverage/water containers should be plastic or cans only. Glass will not be allowed onboard.

    1. Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

    2. Rescheduling Only:

      • ​Cancellations made more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours in advance will not receive a refund.

      • However, we allow rescheduling of the rental date for a future trip.

    3. No Refund or Rescheduling:

      • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

    4. Weather-Related Events: Pontoon Rentals at Bay St. Louis Municipal Marina, LLC will have the discretion to determine weather conditions for refund purposes. If bad weather is expected for the entire day or determined to be unsafe for rentals, Pontoon Rentals may cancel your reservation (rain or wind). If the weather turns bad during the day and is expected to remain bad, the rental will be pro-rated for the hours the boat was used.  Mississippi is known for afternoon thunderstorms that last a short period and no refund will be given if the weather condition is short. NO refunds or pro-rated rates will be given due to bad weather after 3pm on full day rentals.

    5. No Refunds for Early Return: Once you leave the dock, no refunds will be provided if you return early for reasons unrelated to weather conditions.

    • Afternoon storms with gusty winds and lightning are common in summer months and can escalate rapidly, presenting multiple hazards simultaneously.
